A full day at sea off Stone Town: the giant tortoises of Prison Island, then the white sandbank of Nakupenda with fruit and a barbecue on the sand. YOUR DAY 1. Hotel pickup (around 7:30) A group bus takes you from your hotel to Stone Town. 2. Boat to Prison Island Visit the island and its giant tortoises, some of them more than 100 years old, with an English-speaking guide who tells you the history of the place. 3. Nakupenda sandbank The boat takes you to Nakupenda, a dream sandbank in the middle of the turquoise sea. Relax, swim, enjoy fresh fruit and a barbecue, and take beautiful photos. 4. Return Boat back to Stone Town, then the bus takes you to your hotel (around 16:00 to 17:00). PRICE $75 per person. Group trip: you can book alone.
